A beautiful map of Africa with vignettes depicting local scenes that includes an Arab family of Algeria, the wild bushmen of Bosjesman Hottentots, a view of St Helena,  Korranna Hottentots, and an encampment of Bedouin Arabs. 
This map was published in Montgomery Martin’s Illustrated Atlas that was issued for the Great Exhibition of 1851 in London’s Crystal Palace, showcasing the power and might of Great Britain at its zenith of colonial power.
